*What is MILI?

MILI is the Metronet Information Literacy Initiative. It is a collaboration between Metronet, the multicounty, multitype library systems serving the 7-count metro area of St. Paul/Minneapolis, and District 16 (Spring Lake Park), District 112 (Chaska), and Minneapolis Public Schools. The 10 month project provides training and support to teams of library media specialists and teachers on integrating information literacy standards into classroom teaching. We encourage collaboration between teachers & media specialist on teaching the MILI 3 Rs--Research, Reliable Resources, and Responsible Use.
